The Shabby Chic Queen Mum has arrived and is ready to open the doors of her new store right here in Texas – Round Top, Texas, that is.

After purchasing and renovating the gorgeous Round Top bed and breakfast last year, Rachel Ashwell’s Shabby Chic Couture is going to be open for business this week to kick off the festivities for Antiques Weekend.
Shabby Chic Couture Store
A charming farmhouse located on the grounds of The Prairie Bed & Breakfast, has been turned into a shabby chic dream come true. Step inside and surround yourself with luxurious ruffles and beautiful florals upon entering the store. Bedding and slipcovers showcased are styled in the same fashion as the guest cottages at The Prairie. Find tableware and linens to swoon over and special gifts to cherish.
Rachel Ashwell fans, mark your calendars for Tuesday, September 27, 2011 for the first release of her new book Shabby Chic Inspirations and Beautiful Spaces. The book signing will start at 6pm, but make plans to stay for the party. There will be a band and refreshments and it is open for all. See you there!

I’m so glad you joined us for a special shopping day and lunch ! Rachel’s store is full of linens and furniture that make you want to snuggle up and nap or read a good book! I wonder if I could convince her to allow me to sleep over in the store?
